Integra LifeSciences has entered into an acquisition agreement of Codman Neurosurgery.   This transformational acquisition creates compelling value for our shareholders, employees and patients, and enhances our global position in neurosurgery by adding a complementary product portfolio and the world-recognized Codman brand. This expansion position is open as a result of this exciting acquisition.



  1. Contract management and first level legal support: Provides support to General Counsel International in reviewing and drafting contracts, negotiates routine agreements with supervision from General Counsel International; organizes and manages contracts, resolves routine legal issues; researches and analyzes laws in different jurisdictions.


  1. Corporate secretary and first level employment law support: assists in corporate secretary and employment law aspects of Integra LAPAC subsidiaries.


  1. Compliance support and inter-departmental projects support: assists in training on and deploying Integra compliance program in the LAPAC; assists in compliance related matters for LAPAC and other inter-departmental initiatives and projects.


  1. Administrative support: assists in monitoring and updating LAPAC legal budget; provides secretarial and administrative support to General Counsel International.


Assists in any other matter that the General Counsel International may require.



Under direct supervision of General Counsel International.




  1. Contract management and first level legal support:
  • Able to draft and modify form agreements and routine letters based on in-house requests under the supervision of General Counsel International;
  • Coordinate execution of agreements;
  • Organize and manage signed contracts (both paper and electronic filing on law department LAPAC network; monitor and update LawTrac database);
  • Able to review simple contract terms and recommend actions to take;


  1. Corporate secretary and first level employment law support:
  • Manage foreign corporate entity formation projects;
  • Coordinate with Company’s corporate governance attorney(s) on foreign corporate paperwork and compliance with public reporting obligations;


  1. Compliance support and inter-departmental projects support:
  • Help provide on-site training on compliance matters;
  • Assist in deploying Integra global compliance program for the LAPAC region;
  • Assist on departmental projects, including contribution to Law Department International sharepoint site and revision or implementation of company form agreements;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements appropriate for international growth; and
  • Perform other Law Department International related duties as assigned.


  1. Administrative support:
  • Coordinate with FP&A and Accounting LAPAC for follow-up and update Law department LAPAC budget; assist in gathering and preparing Law department LAPAC budget;
  • Design processes and coordinate compliance of LAPAC legal records with Integra record retention policy
  • Assist with the day-to-day legal responsibilities of General Counsel International.


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

  • Education: A minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Type and Number Years of Experience 5 to 10 years in a law firm or corporate law department setting.
  • Language skills: English fluent – Proficiency in a foreign language preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in use of the computer and software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Database management skills preferred.
  • Other Skills: Excellent communication skills.  Highly organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; team player, able to work across organizational and geographic boundaries in high energy and hard working environment; able to learn and apply new information, skills and procedures; experience with contract drafting or review preferred; must be adaptable to a changing environment and able to work under tight deadlines.
