Hydrocephalus and the Neuro Critical Care product families are key growth drivers for the Codman Surgical Specialty business. Based on the growth expectations combined with the technical requirements of the Hydrocephalus and NCC lines, it has been determined that creating a specialty selling channel is vital to the strategic success of these products.
At a high level the position would entail the following:
Ncc Hydro AM will have in-depth clinical knowledge including relevant disease states, products and procedures Equally as important, individuals understand the selling process from start to close and have demonstrated past success building this business in their own territories. He/she will be experts in the ability to communicate with clinicians in both the Operating room and Critical Care environments, with the technical expertise, skills and ability to sell consultatively verse transactionally.
He/she must possess excellent team building skills, based on the collaborative nature of the position. The ability to organize, create tactical plans for complex selling situations, strong communication/ training skills are important as well.
