    The main responsibilities of the function are:

    • Defines and carries out the development and / or transfer of products, equipment and / or processes in an industrial medical environment.
    • Conducts studies to improve existing products, equipment and / or processes.
    • Performs applied research, studies, tune-ups, analyzes, tests and may implement innovations for existing products and / or processes or as part of technology transfer.
    • Operates choices based on the quality of the appropriate materials for the realization of new products and as such writes specifications and defines the manufacturing processes of the product
    • Analyzes and understands products and processes to establish product and process risk analyzes.
    • Develops his arguments within a multidisciplinary team
    • Provide technical support to production
    • Ensures the monitoring and reporting of the various projects in progress
    • Ensures the technical, relational and administrative follow-up of subcontracted projects
    • Implements the action plans for which he is responsible (Management objectives, CAPA's, audits ...)
    • Ensures good upward, downward and transverse communication
    • Regularly reports to his superiors about any problems encountered
    • Train staff and / or ensure proper training in the products / processes he supports
    • Projects management coordination at the site level



    Technical tasks:

    • Supports projects of modification, creation or transfer of product, equipment and process.
    • Develops, proposes to its manager and updates the schedules and the costs of his projects
    • Plans and manages the tests associated with his activity.
    • Respects project deadlines
    • Defines specifications / specifications products, equipment and manufacturing processes
    • Studies and improves the quality of materials, equipment and manufacturing processes.
    • Ensures technological watch for technical developments
    • Creates or updates the documentation necessary for its activities
    • Writes, validates and / or approves verification, qualification, validation or revalidation protocols and reports.
    • Defines equipment maintenance and calibration plans
    • Participates in and approves MDHAs, FMEA Designs and FMEA processes.
    • Provide technical support to production workshops
    • Has good written and oral communication skills to ensure collaboration between clients and suppliers and reconcile the views of the developer, designer and user.


    • Senior generalist engineer (bac +5),
    • 10+ years experience in Medical Devices with proven records on similar function including project management
    • Six-sigma and lean management would be a plus
    • English fluent, capable of working in remote team with English natives
    • Good interpersonal skills, team worker
