    Summary

     

    This role is to sell and promote (CSS) Codman Specialty Surgical products. Primary franchises including: Advanced Energy, Dural Access & Repair and NCC/Hydro.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

     

    The jobholder is primarily responsible for selling the full range of products in assigned accounts or regions in a professional manner to both NHS & private hospitals and related healthcare professionals as well as for the management of quality and consistency of product and service delivery. He / she will cooperate and coordinate activities with the regional & national sales managers as well as relevant product managers in order to maximize CSS business opportunities. He / she will build strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share, leading through economic selling, developing and presenting commercial offers.

     

    Customer Management Achieve agreed budgets, focused on sales growth. Present, in-service and sell Integra CSS products and services to current and potential clients. Support and advise the physician on the correct use of Integra devices. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up. Identify and resolve client concerns. 

     

    Business Development Lead with economic selling activities in the territory. Leverage overall CSS portfolio, focus on account penetration. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Focus on stakeholders

     

    Support & Training Demonstrate effective use of all sales tools and materials provided, to identify and develop real prospects to ensure sales targets are achieved. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. Educate and train Logistic Managers/Purchasing Manager and Hospital Staff. Provide verbal technical support and organise regular in-services. 

    Qualifications

    Experience & Skills:

    • Proven ability in Sales and in growing a business generally demonstrated track record in sales (3 to 5 years), preferably in the neurosurgical / operating room arena.
    • A proven track record in selling to NHS procurement customers
    • Advanced presentation and negotiation skills
    • Strong ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
    • Ability to move in an Operating Room and be familiar with specific requirements in the OR
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Used to work independently with a high level of time management skills
    • A full clean Driving License
