  • Overview

    The Quotes and Tenders Manager is responsible for all tenders and quotes in the respective countries with her/his team to allow the business to be alerted on new tenders in time, submit tenders on time and with highest quality. The role will be based in one of the following location: Lyon (France), Ratingen (Germany), Milan (Italy), Brussel (Belgium) or Dublin (Ireland).


    Tasks and responsibilities:

    • Be the voice to our internal customers on all quotes & tenders related activities of pro-active approach, thorough follow through of open tenders and gathering of all information for each respective country tender                      
    • Supervision of data management regarding articles, prices, customers following internal policies and procedures and within assigned responsibility
    • Supervision of preparation of offers and quotations in the respective countries
    • Manage the quotes & tenders team in Germany, Belgium, Italy and France and potential other European countries
    • Supervision and coaching in relation to tender management
    • Daily monitoring of call for tenders and subsequent monitoring of results and response times
    • Request for tender documents files and subsequent analysis on time
    • Compilation of necessary tender documents
    • Send out applications and responding to follow-up questions on time
    • Adherence to and monitoring of deadlines and internal procedures as well as to the customers directives
    • Compilation and regular update of the necessary bidding standard documents & data (company data, certificates etc)
    • Telephone reception and orientation of customer requests for all aspects of the tender
    • Correspondence with customers (mailings, presentations, editing of files)
    • Coordinate annual price review with Customer Service and Sales
    • Managing administrative requests
    • Performing any other duties necessary for this function



    • Completed commercial training
    • 8 years of experience in internal sales support, database and tender management
    • Advanced technical understanding
    • Spoken and written command of English and at least one of other European languages (German, Italian, French)
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
    • Hands-on mentality
