    Responsibilities

    MISSION

    Main responsibilities are the following :

    • Financial controller is in charge of producing, analyzing and controlling financial information in accordance with group policies
    • Financial controller will manage and drive the financial team as well as supervise internal control activities.
    • Controller will be in charge of multiple entities among which Integra LifeSciences Holdings SAS, - Integra Lifesciences Services France SAS – Integra Lifesciences Middle East FZ LLC – Integra LS (Benelux) NV.
    • Management of Seniors Accountants, Accountants and Junior Accountants

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

     

    • Provide leadership and direction to designated local team and act as a liaison between those site finance teams and Corporate Finance for all finance-related and staffing matters.
    • Develop and demonstrate technical expertise in accounting, reporting and business matters and practices specific to those operations/sites.
    • Review monthly financial results and related disclosure schedules with local Accounting team and management prior to submission to Corporate Finance.
    • Assist Corporate Accounting in resolving financial questions or issues related to the global consolidation.
    • Prepare various financial analyses and present such information to senior and executive management.
    • Perform accounts reconciliation review for designed sites
    • Manage completion of Statutory accounts with the team
    • Responsible for reporting submission on time and as much accurate as possible
    • Gatekeeper of application of accounting principles and local regulations
    • Interact with local management and FP&A for budget completion and any local requirements
    • Assist tax department in tax accounting, planning and compliance matters.
    • Interact with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit field work and participate in closing meetings.
    • Monitor the design and effectiveness and test local internal controls and notify Corporate Finance of any changes in internal controls.
    • Assist Supervising Controller, EMEA in developing Financial Reporting Policies (FRP) and related procedures and education/training of local site finance teams.
    • The individual must be available to travel periodically (estimated level of travel required per year is 10%).
    • Perform other duties as assigned 

    Qualifications

    DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

    • Education: An undergraduate degree in accounting is required.
    • Certifications: CPA is preferred, but not required.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in controlling or financial reporting positions, preferably at publicly traded companies.
    • Demonstrated management of teams ranging from 5 to 10 employees.
    • Effective planning, communication and writing skills also required.
    • The ability to multi-task in a fast paced accounting environment and perform functions such as the creation and maintenance of complex spreadsheets, account analysis and reconciliation.
    • This individual must be highly detail oriented and skilled with a PC and software packages. Oracle R12 will be a plus.
