    About the Division OTT

    ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Orthopedics and Tissue Technologies (OTT) division provides innovative cost-effective solutions that restore and regenerate function for patients. Our products are primarily used by orthopedic, plastic and general surgeons.



    Key Role Objective: Increase sales and market share for Derma Sciences Wound Care range in the acute and primary care markets.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve set quarterly and annual sales targets
    • Increase sales and market share for key product areas in line with Uk market strategy
    • Initiate, develop and support relationships with key accounts
    • Develop good relationships with key customers including, Tissue Viability Nurses, Procurement Managers, District Nurses, Members of Medicines Management and Clinical Leads in Procurement
    • Analyse sales data and plan territory appropriately for maximum return on time investment.
    • Identify areas of further potential and utilise and create opportunities for future growth of territory
    • Create and update regional business plan reflecting UK strategy. Provide active overview of action plans for 3, 6 and 12 months timescale
    • Take on an ‘ownership attitude’ of the territory
    • Represent Derma Sciences in a professional manor
    • Complete and submit regular administration documentation on time including, weekly call planner, monthly report and expenses.




    • You will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who ideally, but not essentially, has wound care sales experience.
    • You will have good commercial acumen and an exemplary track record of selling to nurses in the acute and community markets.
    • You will enjoy being part of a successful team but will thrive on your competitive ability to be the best and use your initiative to solve problems and grow the business.
    • You will have a good understanding of the structure of the NHS and the process of getting products onto formulary.
    • You will have experience and the ability to communicate at all levels effectively and be comfortable presenting to small and large groups of people.
    • You will have excellent planning and organizational skills, be analytical and computer literate.
    • You should have a full, clean driving license.
